Does Skid Plate Get Removed Installing Westin Sportsman Grille Guard on a 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser
Question:
2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser install. I see the skid plate needs to be removed during the install. Does this mean once the grille guard is on the skid plate can not be put back on as long as the grille guard is on? Thanks

I spoke with my contact at Westin and he informed me that you will need to permanently remove your skid plate to install this Westin Sportsman Grille Guard # 40-2215 on your 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser and you will not be able reinstall it once the installation in complete.
I attached the installation instructions for this product for you to check out also.
