Lug Nut Recommendation for a Americana Aluminum HWT Series S5 Trailer Wheel
Question:
Im trying to put together an order for some new alloy rims. I have a fifth wheelHitchhiker II with 6000# Dexter EZ lube axles running 16 inch rims. With a 6X5 1/2 bolt pattern. My question is do you know what size/thread the lugs would be on these axles. And will the standard length lugs work with the Americana Aluminum HWT Series S5 Trailer Wheel - 16 x 6-1/2 Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 - AM22658HWTB Thanks

Your 6k Dexter axles will have hubs on them that accept a 1/2 inch lug like # CE11051. For the Americana Aluminum HWT Series S5 Trailer Wheel, # AM22658HWTB, I recommend Americana Trailer Wheel Lug Nut, # AM90049. A standard nut would be too shallow for the wheel and you would not be able to get it torqued down correctly.
The studs in the hub should be plenty long enough for the wheel.
