The Fan-Tastic Vent 3350 Series Upgrade Kit # FV803358 referenced in your question is designed to upgrade or replace parts of the Fan-Tastic Vent 3350 Series vents and unfortunately won't work for your older model 2000DMTS.

If you need to replace components of your vent or are just wanting to upgrade it so it includes an automatic lift then your best option is going to be to replace the entire assembly. For this I highly recommend the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent # FV807350 that features a reversible 12V fan, a rain sensor that will automatically close when wet, and a remote control for convenient operation.
