Installing Older Tekonsha Envoy Brake Controller on 2019 Ram 1500 Classic

Question:

I have used a Tekonsha ENVOY on a 2001 and 2008 RAM 1500. Now want to use it on 2019 Classic 1500. Wiring for the controller is HARD wired into the back of the ENVOY controller, therefore the harness 3024-p cannot be plugged in to my old controller. The wiring attached to the controller plugged into the previous 1500s using 4 pins verticle and in line that plugged in directly to the 1500s factory port. Can I buy the four square gray plug on the end of 3024-p with connector pins and wire my older Tekonsha controller to use on my 2019?

The vehicle end gray plug on the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3024-P is not available by itself but you can still use this to install the Tekonsha Envoy Brake Controller on your 2019 Ram Classic 1500. You will just need to cut off the controller-end plug on the adapter so that you can hardware it to the pigtail on the Envoy. The wires will match up color to color.

You will then be able to plug the controller into the factory port behind the dash of your new Ram just like you did with your previous Ram.
