Will the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box 6358B Fit a 2008 Honda Fit Sport

hi, will the Thule Force XT XL Roof Box fit my honda 2008 fit sport? I AM OK WITH THE TRUNK NOT OPENING ALL THE WAY. DO YOU RECOMMEND ANY RACKS TO GO WITH THAT MODEL AND MY CAR? THANK YOU

Yes, the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box part # TH6358B will fit your 2008 Honda Fit Sport. The only thing you really need to make note of is the crossbar spread (center of front to center of rear) which for this box is adjustable from 23-5/8" - 35-1/2". For a roof rack that is compatible with this crossbar spread I recommend using the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711220, part # TH480R, and part # THKIT1312 which has a crossbar spread of 27-1/2". This system also has some of the best aero crossbars on the market due to the reduced wind noise as well as durable mounting feet that won't damage the vehicle.

For reference, the Thule Force XT Rooftop Cargo Box requires 51-1/8" from the center of the front crossbar to the rear edge of the hatch while open. The box comes with locks but for the roof rack you would also need the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders part # TH450400.
