I need the measurements on where the rails go for a 2003 gmc 2500 long bed.

For your 2003 GMC Sierra the fifth wheel rail kit that fits your truck is the Reese part # RP50064-58 and the front rail will install 52-3/8 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed. Once that rail is placed you'd use the hitch to place the rear rail 22 inches on center behind the front rail. Using the hitch to do this allows you to have the rails placed perfectly for fitting your hitch well.
