Hopkins Smart Hitch Display Not Switching to Hitch Mode
Question:
My smart wont switch over to hitch mode on the display.. It says its switched to on, But will not switch on the display.

I reached out to Hopkins, who told me if the display on your Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System # HM50002 is not switching to the grid pattern over the camera (which will be the only change for Hitch Mode) you should check the back camera plate as that houses the circuit board, as it may be damaged. It may also be the toggle switch is damaged though you would know if this is the issue or not because if you still change the volume and other functions the toggle switch won't be an issue.
