Picking Out Lippert Equa-Flex for Genesis Supreme Toy Hauler

Question:

I have Lippert 7K tandem axles on my Genesis Supreme toy hauler. The current equalizers are 5.75inch between bolts. Leafs are 1.75inch wide. The 6K Equaflex seems to be the right dimensions but is not rated for 7K. The 8K is too far between holes to match what is on the trailer now. I am open to the Dexter E-Z Flex also but run into the same concerns. Which one is suitable for my trailer?

Your best solution will be the Equa-Flex equalizer set part # LC279688 which matches the capacity you need as that's the most important factor. To allow you to still have the correct shackle angle on your leaf springs you'll want to move your hangers to accommodate these.

My Genesis Vortex already has the equa-flex system but after just two years looks worn out as well as the shackles as they are rubbing against the leaf springs. I upgraded my axels (2 of them)to 8k when trailer was new. What’s the best replacement for equa-flex?

@Darren I really like the MORryde Alltrek 4000 cushioned equalizers as they have vertical and horizontal cushioning unlike anything else on the market. So for that you'd want the part # MR29DR for if you have a 35 inch wheelbase or part # MR89DR for if you have a 33 inch wheelbase.
