No Power On Trailer Battery Circuit In 7-Way on a 2005 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
i added a fuse but the circuit is still not powered up is there another area where the fuse might be upper right hand side perhaps ? 2005 tahoe trailer battery fuse location

The first thing I will have you do is check the studs on your power distribution center (PDC) or otherwise known as the fuse box. These studs are to supply power to a brake controller (if equipped) or to the 7-way for 12 volt power. The issue we see is that many times they are not connected from the factory. The 12 volt power lead for the 7-way is located to the left of the power distribution center, taped to a wire harness under the power brake booster. In order to attach this you will need to cut the tape to release it from the harness and then run the wire to the front of the power distribution center and hook the ring on the right M8 stud using part # 185917. I have attached a photo of this for you.
If the stud is already connected and you still don't have power after checking the fuse then your best option would be to run a wire from the 7-way to the battery yourself with the Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit part # RM-156-75.
