How to Know When to Install Air Bag Suspension Enhancement for 2019 Ford F-350 Towing 5th Wheel
Question:
How can you tell if you need to add airbags on a 2019 F350 dually 4x4 towing a fifth wheel? Is there criteria for when you should consider adding air bags? i.e. bottoming of the helper spring? Is there a way there a definite point you should add air bags to the rear suspension? What would the rear suspension look like at the point you should add airbags?

If when you are towing you notice that your rear suspension is sagging noticeably it would be a good time to go with suspension enhancement. You do want to make sure you aren't exceeding the towing capacity of the truck but if you are experiencing sag while under the capacity it would be time for rear suspension enhancement. If you are hitting the bump stops like you mentioned then it would definitely be time.
For your 2019 Ford F-350 that has the factory fifth wheel rail kit we have the Firestone kit part # F35FV which is a confirmed fit and is also designed to fit with the in-bed rail kit you have as well. For a compressor kit then I'd recommend the Firestone Air Command I part # F2097 because it comes with a heavy duty compressor which will inflate the bags quicker and it comes with a gauge you will mount on the interior of your vehicle to allow you to easily monitor/inflate/deflate as needed.
