What Gauge Wire Should be Used When Installing Redarc In-Vehicle Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D
Question:
Hello. I’m looking to install this charger in my pop up trailer. I’m going to install a double battery setup and have the charger in the trailer. What gauge wires, fuses and connectors will I need to do this? I assume I’ll be adding a separate plug attached to my 7 pin to connect the charger setup? Thanks

The Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1225D needs a minimum of 8 gauge wire. The connectors will need to match the gauge wire you use and then any fuses would need to be 40 amp per Redarc with the kit part # 331-FK40.
