Recommended Towing Mirrors for a 2016 Chevrolet Colorado

I am looking for towing mirrors for my 2016 Colorado, factory has nothing, I have a small 21 foot travel trailer I plan on towing this summer. The only factory style mirror out there is the Clearview brand, but the heads are so large they look like they come off a full size Silverado. How about some input on the subject. What have you sold for my application and what works well? I do like the looks of the CIPA 40375, however will they fit my mirror head, if I had one in front of me I would try it and then I would know. So what would you folks suggest to me, any input is appreciated! Thanks

The CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirrors part # 40375-2 will most likely fit the factory side mirrors on your 2016 Chevrolet Colorado. This has not yet been tested but I would say it is a pretty safe bet to assume they will.

For a set of towing mirrors that we have confirmed fit of, I recommend the CIPA Universal Towing Mirrors part # CM11980-2 or the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors part # KS3891-2. These mirrors will both do an excellent job of extending your field of view.

The CIPA mirrors will be easier to take on and off the vehicle but the downside of this easy on/off install is that they are not as secure as the K-Source mirrors. The added security from the straps are then going to do a better job of reducing vibrations. Therefore, the CIPA mirrors will be the easiest to take on/off but the K-Source mirrors will be the most secure.
