Kayak Carrier Recommendation for a 5th Wheel Trailer Roof
Question:
I am looking for a way to secure my single Kayak to the roof of my 5th wheel camper. This product seems like it would work, but wanted to see if you had customers with similar applications and if they purchased this or another type mount. Thanks.

I am going to assume that the roof of your 5th wheel trailer does not have any type of roof rack on it. In that case you would need to either add one or use one of the carriers designed for a naked roof. The easiest way to go would be a carrier designed for a naked roof.
The Rightline Gear Foam Kayak Block, # RL100K10, is a kit that will fit on a naked roof. With this kit, you would place the blocks on the roof, place the kayak on the blocks, and then the whole thing is held in place with the included straps. On a 5th wheel trailer, you may need additional straps like # 753-2030-02 in order to properly tie down the kayak.
You will also need to consult the owners manual for the trailer or the trailer manufacturer to make sure the roof is rated for this application.
