Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler Recommendation for a 2010 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
I have a 2010 GMC Sierra 4WD Crew Cab 4.8LT V8, will be towing a travel trailer that weighs 4700lbs. I want to be sure that I have the engine oil and transmission within good temperatures. How does this combination cooler compare to having one of each or is one of each not recommended? Thanks

The benefit to a combination cooler like the Derale Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler # D15902 is that it only requires you to mount one cooler instead of two separate ones for the engine oil and transmission fluid. If you plan on installing a transmission and engine oil cooler this is the route I would recommend.
This combination cooler comes with multiple oil filter thread options to ensure that it will work on your vehicle. I attached an couple FAQ articles on cooler for you to check out and an installation video for you to check out also.
You will need to measure the area in front of your radiator to determine if there is adequate room for this cooler. The specs of this cooler are on the product page.
