Why Does Atwood AT15028-22 AC Unit Run Fan All the Time

Question:

We have a 2002 Holiday Rambler 34PDQ diesel pusher motorhome. I replaced the front AC unit with the AT15028-22 today. Everything works like is should, it switches between heat and cool with the thermostat except that the fan does not shut off when it cools down the air enough. I can hear the compressor shut off, but not the fan. Any suggestions?

This is a fairly common concern with the Atwood AC units. The reason the fan stays on is because the thermostat sensor is located in the return air side of the AC. The fan keeps air moving from the RV so that it gets an accurate temperature reading.
