Can the cushioned 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter be used with an air ride hitch ?

As long as the king pin plate doesn't pivot forward and back the Convert a Ball adapter part # CAB-C5G can be used with a cushioned pin box. For example the 5th Airbornes or the standard Trailair pin boxes would be okay, but the Rota-Flexes or Flex Air pin boxes would not.
