The best option I have for you to use an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System on your 2018 Ram 3500 with a 3" receiver tube opening is with a combination of the following parts.
Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System (No Shank) - part # EQ37101ET
Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches - part # EQ90-02-4900
B&W Hitch Receiver Reducer Sleeve - part # BWRHXA2183
This setup will then give you everything you need to use the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System. It is possible to use the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System part # EQ37100ET that you referenced but this means you will need two adapters, 3" to 2-1/2" and 2-1/2" to 2" which will work but the fewer adapters you use, the better off you will be.
