Trunk Mount Bike Rack for a 2012 Ford Focus 4-Door Sedan without a Rear Spoiler

I do not have a spoiler on my car. the lid of the trunk is narrow. Will one of your racks fit on my car?

You can use a trunk mount bike rack on your 2012 Ford Focus sedan. The Thule Gateway Pro 3, # TH78VR, that you have referenced is listed as a fit. I have also included a link to all of the trunk mount bike racks that will fit your car.

For a 3 bike rack, I recommend the OutWay 3, # TH56BV. This rack is very light (under 19 pounds) comes with an updated cradling system, and it can be locked to the vehicle. But probably the best feature would be the 2 retractable cables it uses to attach to the vehicle. Other racks use 4-6 straps that are secure but time-consuming to install. The cables on the OutWay make installation or removal faster and easier than any other rack I have seen.

If you will be carrying women's, children's, or alternative frame bikes, I recommend using the Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT, in order to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter bar works.
