Should Spring Bars of Weight Distribution System Be Disconnected When Backing Up Tight Turn

I’m curious if I should disconnect the weight distribution bars prior to backing into my driveway with a 90 degree turn?

It would be a good idea to disconnect your spring bars from the head of your # RP67509 if you have to back your trailer into an area with a 90 degree turn. WD system do not like tight turns and if you jackknife the trailer with the bars attached they most likely will fall out. We tend to recommend people disconnect the bars when backing up unless they plan to back up mostly straight.
