Can Above Bed Base Rails Be Used If There is a B&W Turnoverball Installed

Question:

2006 Dodge ram 2500 6 1/2 ft bed. If there is a BandW turn over gooseneck hitch install can these rails be installed? Are the BandW turn over gooseneck brakets in the way or can the rails be installed along with the turn over goose neck hitch?

I do have an option for you but the B&W Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWRVR3200 will not work for you if you already have a B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch installed. However, what you can do if you need to mount an above bed 5th wheel hitch that uses industry standard base rails is use the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches part # 16310 which will give you the same rails as the B&W Universal Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches.

I am not sure if you are aware but B&W actually makes a 5th wheel hitch that attaches directly to the B&W Turnoverball, the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # BWRVK3400-5W.
