Mounting Hardware to Install Gustafson RV LED Ceiling Light 277-000454
Question:
I understand that this fixture does not come with mounting hardware. However, I am wanting to pop out my current LED original dome light and want to replace with this light over my travel trailer dinette. What mounting hardware is typically required to make this installation? In other words do you just use screws to screw it directly to the ceiling or is there more to it ?

Gustafson RV LED Ceiling Light # 277-000454 really is a simple install: three screws for mounting it to your ceiling and two wires for connection (white for ground and black for power). You'll also need butt connectors # 05732-2 or wire nuts to connect the wires.
For hardware you can take your installation lead from the screws that are holding the existing light in place. If they are wood screws, then use wood screws to install the Gustafson. If they are sheet metal screws then use that type. Note that the steel base is about 3/4-inch thick so your three screws will probably need to be 1-1/4- to 1-1/2-inches long.
