Is Atwood Air Command AC Unit a Good Replacement for Dometic AC Unit on Jayco Jay Flight 265 SLX

I have a Jayco Jayflight 265 SLX. It has a Dominic AC only unit that is 13,500 BTU. It failed within the first year of purchasing the RV. I live in the south, it gets hot down here! Warranty replaced it with the same model. I am not happy with it. I know that Dominic has purchased Atwood, but wondering if this Atwood unit is better quality. I also want a heat pump so I dont have to burn my propane on cool nights. So my question is, is this a good investment?

Both the Dometic and Atwood air conditioner units have been used as OEM products over the years. A lot of times when it comes to AC units it boils down to personal preference.
