Do Towers on Blue Ox KarGard Need to be Removed When Unhooking Tow Bar

Question:

When using this Kar Guard in place on a Blue Ox tow bar and towing, what is required when unhooking tow bar from coach, realize you need to remove the shield, but do you need to disassemble the tower posts before folding the tow bar against the motorhome. Example: pull into an RV park and half to unhook car and drive RV to my spot. I just cannot let tow bar drag behind the RV with the tower posts still attached.

When removing the Blue Ox KarGard Towed Vehicle Protector # BX8870 the towers will need to be removed from their bases, as you can see in the accompanying cut out of the linked manual. By removing the towers you will be able to fold your tow bar.
