The Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter # 9480 does not have the square post adapter available outside of the entire unit. I reached out to my contact at Draw-Tite to confirm this.

It sounds like you have a B&W gooseneck hitch in your new truck or want to move in that direction, so I recommend going with the Companion # BWRVK3500 as a much better hitch alternative. This adapter is designed specifically for that under bed gooseneck fit. It is one of our most popular hitches because of its durability and function. The connection to your king pin is far superior to the Hi-Rise for a much better towing experience. If you have a short bed truck you will instead want # BWRVK3400 to give you the 12 inches of travel between locking positions for turning clearances.

If you want to have an adapter that will give you industry standard base rails for other hitch fits, then I recommend the Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches # DM6140.

A final option is the Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550045 which will mount over your gooseneck hitch ball. This is a really nice hitch adapter to give you a different style hitch that will work very well with your current gooseneck hitch ball.
