Does Reese Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Require Using Reese Brand Rails or Will Other Brand Rails Work
Question:
I recently purchased a Reese Pro Series 15k 5th wheel hitch. It came with all the hardware and the frame rails. Before I was able to install the unit in my truck my wifes brother swapped our frame rails with some gray ones that he had. My question is, will there be a problem with using the gray rails or should I insist he return the original rails? I have no idea what kind they are or if they will even work?

We cannot ever recommend mixing rail and bracket brands. You'll need to get the black Reese rails back from your brother-in-law! Most likely he gave you a set of B and W rails as they are the company most commonly associated with gray fifth wheel rails.
