Since you say installation went well, the trailer main fuse may not be connected properly. If you are simply not getting function, check all the trailer connections and fuse locations again as outlined in the attached installation details.
If all that checks out then go back to check the white ground wire to ensure it is bare metal to metal as even paint can cause a poor connection.
