The Hidden Hitch Class II Trailer Hitch # 90092 referenced in your question is not designed for your 2018 Jeep Compass and it will not fit its frame rails. This particular hitch is designed for certain model years of the Ford Thunderbird and Lincoln Mark VIII.

For your 2018 Jeep Compass New Body Style (with the letter T as the 11th character in the VIN) your best option for the easiest install is with the Draw-Tite Class III # 76144. For your model Jeep Compass this just requires modification to the hanger bracket for install (unlike other hitch models that also would require removal and trimming of the heat shield).
