Valve Stem Location Recommendation for Firestone Coil-Rite Air Spring on a 2006 Toyota Sienna
Question:
I have just order the coil rite kit for my 2006 toyota sienna mini van. I am looking for advice for where to mount the filler valve. I relize it says somewhere safe but any ideas would be greatlful. Thanks

The first priority for the valve stem location when installing Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs # F4155 is that the airlines will be routed in such a way that they would not come in to contact with any areas that might pinch or melt the lines.
With that being said, I have seen a lot people install them into the rear bumper, out of the way of anything that might hit it, and not directly behind a wheel to prevent road grime from building up on it too much. You would do this by drilling a hole in the bumper near the bottom of the bumper, and run the valve stem through the hole. I actually had air shocks on an old car of mine and had the valve stems mounted in the rear bumper and they worked quite well there.
