Replacement Magnet for 10 Inch Brake Assembly on 3,500 Pound Axle
Question:
My controller started not working saying I have short in brake circuit. I ohmd out my brakes and found one reading short, while the others say @ 3 ohms. So I just need the electro magnet replaced, but cannot find any on your site. Do i need to replace the entire assembly?

We actually do have replacement brake magnets available! If you have 10 inch brakes like the etrailer.com Electric Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35 that you referenced then the correct replacement magnet kit is the part # AKBRKR-M10. This is compatible with assemblies from Dexter, AxleTek, Lippert, and AL-KO as well.
I have attached a short video review on this kit that you can also take a look at.
