The Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57217 fits the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 with 4WD. The Air Helper Springs are also compatible with the use of a weight distribution system.The Air Springs help to take weight off of the rear axle of the truck and prevent sag. Since you have a 4 inch lift you need spacers part # AL52440.

Although the Air Springs help to reduce the strain on your back axle, you may want to check to see if the weight distribution system you are using is properly rated for the tongue weight of your trailer. If the spring bars are rated for less weight than your tongue weight then the system does not properly distribute the weight away from the rear axle of the vehicle. You may also be experiencing rear axle sag because of the lift on the truck. You want to make sure the trailer is within 2 inches of level with the truck.

The RoadActive Suspension part # RAS4611 videos were recorded in two different areas of our install bays, one with access to the lift and the other does not. The installation instruction for the RoadActive require you to raise the rear of the truck with a floor jack then place two jack stands under the vehicle so you do not need a lift to install this part.
