Can 7-Way to 5-Way Adapter part # C35FR Activate Reverse Lock Out of Surge Brakes
Question:
I have a stock 7 pin connector on my 2006 4Runner and a 5 pin flat plug on my Shorelandr trailer. The disc brake actuator on my trailer has a lockout solenoid. Will this adapter provide for normal solenoid lockout operation when backing the trailer up? Thx!

As long as the 7-way installed on your 2006 Toyota 4Runner has the reverse light function active yes, the 7-Way to 5-Way Adapter part # C35FR that you referenced would work well to activate the reverse lockout on your trailer.
