The Replacement Reese Titan 16K Head RP58446 referenced in your question will not fit the legs of your existing Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30047. The attachment design of the legs and head on these two model hitches are different so the parts are not interchangeable.

If you just need the replacement head for your Reese hitch the Replacement # RP58146 is the correct part.

If you were wanting to replace the head in order to upgrade the unit then your only option will be with a brand new hitch. For this I recommend taking a look at the Reese 20K # RP30928 because it features a forged single-piece jaw (as opposed to the 2-jaw system on your current model) that will provide a more secure connection and a smoother ride. It also has the 9 inch funnel that will ease the hookup process.

This hitch will attach to the same industry standard base rails as your existing Reese hitch. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
