Why Arent all of the Removable Arms of Roadmaster Base Plate Kits the Same

are all the removable arms the same or are they vehicle specific? mine came out of kit 521423-1

All of the removable arms for the Roadmaster base plate kits are made differently. Basically they all have to put the mounting brackets at the same width for the tow bar attachment but not all vehicles have the same frame width. If you were looking to install the arms you have on a new vehicle you'd have to go with an all new base plate kit.
