I have the BandW goose neck kit and I’m having problems getting the offset ball to lock in. Should the Goose hitch be flush with the bottom of the bed or flush with the top portion of the bed?2017 Ford F-250

The 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Dodge Ram # BWGNXA4685 is only designed to fit with the Ram compatible Turnoverball # BWGNRK1309 so it is not compatible with your 2017 Ford F-250.
Your truck should have the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit # BWGNRK1116 which will use the 4" Offset Ball for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches # BWGNXA4085. This correct fit offset ball will fit your hitch and will rest directly on top of the bed floor of your truck.
