When installing a universal fifth wheel rail kit in the bed of your 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500 long bed the rear edge of the rear rail will be 30 inches from the rear edge of the truck's bed. Then you'll use the hitch placed in the rear rails to determine where the front rail goes.
