How To Use the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning on a 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia

I do have an option that will allow you to use the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning part # RR33200 on your 1991 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia but I do not have any information on Rhino-Racks intentions to produce an adapter for rain gutters or straight bolt-on applications. However, if you were to install the Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar part # TH711520 and the Thule Rapid Gutter Feet for AeroBlade Crossbars part # TH65BJ which is a fit for your Vanagon Westfalia that will then allow you to mount the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning.

The other option you have is to use the Thule HideAway Awning part # TH490011 or part # TH490018 which does attach directly to the roof but does not extend out towards the back of the vehicle like the Rhino-Rack Batwing Awning does.
