Weight Distribution Recommendation for Travel Trailer that has Tongue Weight 1,365 lb

Question:

I plan on towing a travel trailer with a gvwr max of 10500lbs times 13 tongue weight comes to 1365lbs of tongue weight. The trailer is 38’ long. My hitch is rated for 19000 lbs 1900 tongue weight with a 3” receiver opening. I also have the s to make it 2.5” I will attach the pictures Incase I am misunderstanding the information. Am I able to use the 2.5 and still have the 19000/1900 lbs rating or does it go down? Also I’m assuming I’ll need a weight distribution hitch in order to get the 1900 lb tongue rating when using the 2.5 receiver? What wds do you recommend? Thank you

Looks like the higher towing capacity number your truck has of 19,000 lbs of trailer weight is if you use the hitch as a 2.5 inch hitch and a weight distribution system. Since your trailer has a loaded tongue weight of 1,365 lbs the Strait Line system part # RP66075 that you referenced would be exactly what you'd want as it has a tongue weight range of 1,000 to 1,700 lbs. You'll also need a shank for this system to fit the hitch and WD head. For that you'd want the Reese shank part # RP54977 which has the same capacity as the Strait-Line system and fits a 2-1/2 inch hitch.
