Gustafson RV LED Puck Light # 277-000489 Color Temperature and Dimmer Compatibility

Question:

The physical appearance is very similar to the lights I have in my Thor motorhome. They also have the small metal switch in the center of the lens. I am interested in replacing them with something not quite as bright. However, there are several key bits of information are missing that I would need to know first. What is the color temp range of the light, 3000* warm or 5000* blueish-white. Is the light dimmable? If so what dimmers can be used? Do you sell them? Cost? Is the bulb, I assume its a wafer config replaceable? Is it a G4 type bulb side mount dual pin?

The attached picture shows the color temperature of the Gustafson RV LED Puck Light # 277-000489 that you referenced. It's definitely a warmer, yellow light that will be easier on the eyes than the cooler color temps often associated with LED lighting. The diodes are in a wafer like construction under the lens as well which is not replaceable.

This could be used with a dimmer but the dimmer would have to be designed for LED light setups which draw quite a bit less amperage. If you use a non-LED dimmer (like I tried to do at my house), it will make a lot of noise, won't really dim so much as just turn it off and on and will shorten life of the light.
