Trailer Tire Recommendation to Replace Tire Size 215/75R15 on Trailer that Failed
Question:
I have 215/75R15 tires on a trailer that I bought and they must be car tires due to a blow out. What size trailer tire in at least an 8 ply will work?

The tire size you mentioned is not a standard trailer tire size so it is most likely a passenger vehicle tire which should not be used on a trailer. If it was a trailer size the numbers should have started with ST. Typically vehicle tires start with the letter P.
The closest tire size is going to be the ST225/75R15 like the # AM10303 which has a ply rating of 10, Load Range of E, and most importantly a weight capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi, plus a speed rating of 81 mph.
