can the roof cargo basket be modified to carry my tricycle needing 62inx33in dimension to carry it at the back of my car? It does not have to be a folding type What type of accessories are required?

We do have options to carry the tricycle but I do not recommend carrying the tricycle on the roof because of how heavy tricycles are, they are awkward to lift and get onto the roof.
The best option to carry a tricycle is Hollywood Racks Sport Rider Trike Carrier part # HR1000Z-R-TRKADP. The Hollywood Sport Rider carrier fits Class III trailer hitches. I am not sure what hitch you have on your vehicle so it is a good idea to make sure it is a 2 inch Class III hitch. The Sport Rider carries adult trikes and has a maximum wheelbase of 74 inches. The Sport Rider does carry Tadpole trikes which are normally 70 inches or longer so your 62 inch trike fits the carrier.
There are not any other accessories needed with the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider because the bike rack features locking bike frame hooks and an anti-rattle hitch pin that locks to the hitch.
