Platform Bike Rack Recommendation that Fits Subaru Hitch with Shallow Hitch Pin Hole Location
Question:
The infamous Subaru receiver Do you know if the Saris Superclamp EX 2 will work with the proprietary Subaru 1.25 receiverthe one with the lock pin hole close to the end of the receiver? I know the Kuat Sherpa works fine but am wondering about the Saris SuperClamp EX. Thanks

The Saris SuperClamp EX # SA4025F hasn't been officially tested in the "infamous" (your words haha) Subaru hitch with the pin hole close to the end of the opening, but based on pictures of the pin of this rack it's obvious it wouldn't fit well. Since you know the Kuat Sherpa part # SH12G does fit well this would be the way to go.
