Height of MaxxAir Mini Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-03700 Once Installed on RV
Question:
THe Maxxair Mini Vents, Item # MA00-03700, does it mount flush to top of RV roof? So it would extend 4 inches above roof line or how high? Im assuming some of the parts shown are for interior of coach. The reason Im asking, I store my camper in a shed. I currently have the MAXXAIR vent covers installed, larger in height. They are too tall to fit in shed due to my shed height. So I can remove the MAXXAIR vents, and just leave lids on and camper will then fit under the shed. If the Mini vents are not very tall, then probably can use the rathe than MAXXAIR vents currently installed. Would save me a lot of hassle to store camper. IF these min vents could get me about 5 inches lower than regular MAXXAIR vents, this would work perfect. Thanks,

Yes, the MaxxAir Mini Trailer Roof Vent # MA00-03700 will only sit about 4" tall once installed as it does mount flush on the roof. The portion under that upper flange can be adjusted depending on how thick your RV roof is (it fits roofs 1" - 4-1/2" thick).
I am not sure what MaxxAir vents you are currently using but you should be able to easily determine if these will allow you to pull into your shed without removing anything by simply measuring the difference between the height of your RV from the ground to the roof and from the ground to your entrance.
Please note that this vent does come with mounting hardware but you will need to use sealant, like part # 0160297, to help make sure that no rain gets in.
