Tire Chain Recommendation for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe with 245/75-16 Tires

Would the Glacier Twist-Link Snow Tire Chains with Cam Tighteners, # PWH2228SC work on a 2001 Chevy Tahoe WITH 4-WHEEL DRIVE?

First, you will want to consult the vehicle owners manual for the 2001 Chevy Tahoe to determine if chains can be used and if there are any specific requirements if you can use chains. Typically, on 4-wheel drive vehicles, you would place the chains on the rear wheels. If 4-wheel drive is engaged, you can use them on all 4 wheels.

I show that your Tahoe uses 245/76-16 size tires. If this is the case, I recommend the Konig self-tensioning chains, # TH2004705255. These chains are better suited for an SUV. The Twist Link chains # PWH2228SC are more of a pickup truck application with the same tire size.
