Can Surco Ladder Install on 2018 Heartland Pioneer RP180 Travel Trailer
Question:
I am looking into mounting a ladder for roof access and to have a spot to carry my portable waste tank. is this possible with this trailer and if so what is the best way/product to do this? thanks

When installing a ladder on your 2018 Heartland RV the key is making sure the new ladder mounts to the RV's structural components under its outer skin. It is possible that the screw holes will not line up exactly but so long as they allow the included fasteners to reach those structural components the ladder will be able to safely support its maximum rated weight load of 275-lbs for the Surco Ladder part # SP502L.
As far as mounting a portable waste tank on the roof I can't say I've had that request before but you'd have to make sure the roof is rated for the weight and understand you'd have to get the tank up and down the ladder which may be challenging.
