Which Flashpaq F5 Programmer Fits 2017 GMC Sierra with 5.3 liter V8

Question:

I purchased a flashpaq f5 for my 2015 Chevrolet 5.3L with a 6 speed transmission to override the V8 to V4 shifting. It worked perfect for this application. I no longer own the 2015 truck and purchased a 2017 GMC 5.3L with a 8 speed transmission. Will the same flashpaq f5 work on the 2017 truck?

SuperChips recommends the Flashpaq F5 part # SU5845 for the 2017 GMC 5.3 liter and for the 2015 model you had they recommended the part # SU2845 which means you would need to upgrade to the new part number.
