Best 5th Wheel Hitch for a Ford F-450 with Factory Prep Package and 22,000 Lb Towing Capacity

What is the absolute, best 5th wheel hitch for towing 22,000 lbs? Will be installed in a F450 Crew Cab, 4x4 DRW. Need it to be compatible with the factory 5th wheel hitch prep. Thank you!

The absolute best 5th wheel trailer hitch for your Ford F-450 will depend on if you have the short 6-3/4' bed or the long 8' bed. If you have the short bed I recommend the Curt Q24 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider part # C16545-16020. If you have the long bed then I recommend the Curt A25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # C16036.

The Curt A25 fixed and Curt Q24 slider are actually going to be your only options for a trailer with a gross trailer weight (GTW) of 22,000 lbs. They are both rated at 24,000 lbs which is the highest available for your truck. Both the A25 and Q24 hitches will be a direct fit for the 5th wheel prep package you have in your Ford F-450.
