If your 2009 Toyota Camry has the manual transmission then it can be flat towed behind a motorhome with all 4 wheels on the ground. To do this you will need a base plate kit, a tow bar, safety cables, a lighting solution, and a supplemental braking system.
For your Camry I recommend the following:
Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect # 1189-3
Tow Bar - Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain # RM-522
Safety Cables - Roadmaster # RM-643
Lighting Solution - Roadmaster Diode Kit # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - SMI Air Force One # SM99243 if your motorhome has air brakes or the SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM99251 along with the Brake-Lite Relay # RM-88400 if it has hydraulic brakes
The Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit features a hidden bracket design and easily removable drawbars that provide your vehicle with a clean look when you aren't towing. There isn't a crossbar needed either which further simplifies hookup. I really like the Falcon All Terrain Tow Bar because of its non-binding design that allows you to release your Camry at any time (even on unlevel ground) and the extra long telescoping arms that provide you with better maneuverability on the road.
The Roadmaster Diode Kit will let you wire the Camry so that it accepts the signal lights from the motorhome while also preventing any feedback. I recommend the SMI Braking Systems because of their maintenance free design after the initial installation that allows you to transition from towing to every day driving with ease.
I have attached a few video demonstrations on these products that you can check out as well. In order to keep your tow bar within the "Safety Zone" (3 inches below or above level) you will likely also need a high-low adapter. I have included a great article that explains how to choose the best one along with a link that will take you to our available selection.
