Can Only One Set of Snow Chains be Installed on a Vehicle
Question:
I have Tire size 185/14C In your note, you recommend putting chains on all 6 tires of a camper I think it was a Toyota. Dont chains just go on the drive wheels? The customer had dual rear wheels. Maybe they had 4 wheel drive? I just ordered one set of Glacier chains recommended by your customer service person for my 2 wheel drive Vanagon. Thanks.

We recommend that you install chains on your drive wheels. So if you have a front wheel drive - put a pair on the front. If you have rear wheel drive - put a pair on the back. If you have all wheel drive or 4 wheen drive - put a set on all four tires. Just check your owners manual for factory recommendations or limitations.
