Which Brake Controller is Compatible with a Vintage 1963 Camper Behind a 2006 Ford Explorer
Question:
Tow vehicle, 06 ford eplorer w/o tow package. Trailer, 1963 camper, 12v system, single axle, 2100 lbs. Doing a full restore, trailer brakes/ hardware apeer as new. Question, are modern brake controllers compatable with this old timer? Your recomendations for equipment

As long as your trailer has modern brakes, you should have no problem using a modern style brake controller. I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller, part # 90885. It is a proportional controller so it will keep your trailer braking more in sync with your vehicle.
