I have a 08 GMC Sieara with the cargo system. Will this cover stand up to a foot of snow setting on top of it? and what is a track system?

This TruXedo Deuce Hinged Roll-up Tonneau Cover # TX771201 that you referenced should work well on your 2008 GMC Sierra with a cargo system as long as it has a 6-1/2 foot bed.

The Trac system is the cargo system that you have on your vehicle. It is just another name for it. I attached a picture that shows a GM truck with a Trac system for you to check out.

This cover can handle heavy snowfall, however you will want to brush the snow off of the cover as soon as possible.
